School of Athens
The School of Athens was painted by Raphael in the year 1510-151. The kind of art Raphael used to was fresco. Fresco is mural paintings which were painted on the ceiling or on the walls. This painting is about knowledge, the people in the paintings are philosophers and students learning from them. And also this painting wasn't about the Romans or nature it was about the famous Greek philosophers. This painting also shows perspective which shows depth and 3D which makes the artwork look more realistic. This art work shows how the Italians wanted to learn more about different type of knowledge not just from the ancient Romans but also the ancient Greeks. This painting shows how the Italians were focused in learning new things in life and whats happening around.

Driving Force of the Renaissance
Trading & Banking
I think the most crucial driving force was "Trading and Banking." Because with out trading and banking the Italians wouldn't have been able to discover new places, different kind of knowledge, different materials from other country etc. I chose a picture of the medic family because the medic's were a very successful family in trading and banking.
